Hi I'm new and need friends Topic

Hi — I just decided to check out the social community of MND.
Are there any other men on here that are experts on using the app?
I am doing pretty well so far but would like to know other’s experiences.

Hi I’m HopefulBeth I am new too! I am doing the Dash diet to get healthy! I would be glad to be your friend. The healthy weight loss journey is always easier when you have someone there cheering you on!

Hi there! I'm 63 and trying to lose 30 lbs or so. 50 would be great but I feel is unrealistic lol. I have been using this app off and on for 6-8 years and find it very easy and informative.
I thought I had found the perfect evening snack, fat free cottage cheese and canned "no sugar added" cherry pie filling. It does make a yummy snack but I just realized that the sodium in the cottage cheese is very high. According to this app, I consume at least twice as much sodium as I should. Often more than double. This surprised me and I found it a bit discouraging. I like that the app measures nutrients in my foods, or I think I like it!
My weight goes up and down daily but in general is slowly going down.

Hi everyone! I’m new here too. Only been using this app about 3 weeks. I’m 60 years old and need to lose about 20 pounds. Looking for friends, tops and encouragement.

Hello, I’m new here, I’d love to connect with any newbies who, like me, want to share accountability and motivation. I’m a 41 yo woman beginning my journey to loose between 10-15kg.

Hello - I am new to "MyNetDiary" and so far I appreciate the data analysis it offers compared to MyFitnessPal. I've struggled with weight all my life, before 2020 I was activate for a solid 5 years, lots a portion of my weight but struggled. Then COVID hit and so did the lockdown and as much as I tried to continue working out at home, the excuses started and I stopped.

Here I am, at the age of 41 back up to my original weight of 385lbs and thankfully no health issues. I am hoping to avoid any health issues as much as possible by adopting healthy eating patterns and incorporate more physical activities. I would certainly would like some friends to help stay motivated together. I am by no means a competitive person, and I do enjoy seeing others succeed which helps me push myself.

Hi Everyone,
MyNetDiary is in the process of updating the community forum. If you are finding others are not responding to your posts, try the forum option on your mobile device. Android should be updated in a few weeks! Or you can always find us on Facebook or Instagram.

Cheers to tracking! It is a powerful way to see how our habits impact our health goals. Best, Joanna (MyNetDiary Dietitian)

Hi. Newbie here. Really loving this Website so far. Love that I can track online instead of just my phone. It gives my eyes a break. Love the look and articles too. Let's do this.

Welcome! We are so glad you are finding the web app helpful! FYI: The Community is much more active on the mobile apps. If you are looking for support, please use those platforms. Best, Joanna

I don't exercise much other than mainlining 7 acres of property. It is a daily grind to keep it in check. I gotta get better at this exercising thing.
